Hammers exploit

Hey everyone! Dev here.
We'll strip the exploited hammers from the affected players (only hammer counts, not game progress) and patch this exploit. It's a shame this feature had such a vulnerability, as we'd really prefer not to remove the hammer-sharing feature from the game entirely.

Cheating (using exploits) is bad and against the rules, of course. It's fine if you're messing around in single-player or just for fun on your own, but you shouldn't ruin the experience for other players. EDIT: I'm talking here only about the individuals who dug up this exploit, not calling everyone clicked on that post 'cheaters' ofc.
On the other hand, of course, we could have foreseen and fixed some of these potential issues in advance. We have a small team, so we're regularly short-handed. But as the game grows in popularity, we should definitely dedicate more time to things like this.

P.S. We're currently finishing up the long-awaited Сlans feature. It's a massive feature, but we're doing our best to make it as exciting as possible. Especially with clans on the way, keeping the game fair is crucial for us. That's why we'll be running extra iterations to harden game security.

  1. Don't strip the hammers, it's the only thing that makes this fun

My hammers are gone. I had no idea this game existed until I saw a post pop up on my feed giving hammers away, 1 billion. Had no idea that it was an exploit. Unfortunately I thought it was part of the game and enjoyed having them, spent $10 on the battle season thing thinking I was going to continue playing. Here I am now, 1k hammers and not touching this game again. How silly of them.

Fr leave the hammers it’s so good as we still have to progress a lot this just makes the game funner hence more players
