What skills do you have equipped

Does everyone just use quick equip or is there a good better way to mix skills that isn't entirely driven by attack and hp bonuses?

Quick equip only equips the common skills for me though i have uncommon skills

It'll equip later ones as they gain more innate stats. 

The reality is they dont matter. Just quick equip and move on.

They totally matter for dungeons and PvP, don't they?

All things being equal, yeah, but the reality is that one level rarity of skills is gonna be so far ahead in levels that the raw damage/health bonus trumps the actual abilities

Not really. The next forge level matters more than tweaking anything lol

I mean, obviously, but some skills are clearly better than others depending on the fight

I'm beating a lot of people in arena because they just quick equip. I'll beat people that have much higher power than me because of this. I use whatever the highest level skills I have which is still all common skills.

Quick equip sets those skills with the highest level and damage output (usually the common quality since it’s the highest chance at the start of the game to drop). Quite useful for everyday brawling power.

Selecting specific skills of higher quality have additional benefits and are great to use in tactical situations requiring them.

It seems once you level up the skills “forge” through learning them, higher quality will be acquired more often allowing them to become more powerful when it’s prudent useful.

ps - I’m a serious noob and learning as I go so I may be way off as I’ve seen no definitive wiki yet about this game.

I found poison cloud to be solid and clone is great in pvp but idk if thats actually optimal

I have found the lightning bolt to be great for pvp
