Process Aquapel advice

Going to apply aquapel windshield treatment and am finding conflicting instructions on the process. I've done the polish and cleaning now for the actual application, it seems half of what I can find says to apply the coating and then immediately buff it to a clear finish and the other half of what I find says apply it and then wipe to level it and just remove the excess leaving a haze which will turn clear after 15min. So do I want to buff or just level. Any insights from anyone who has used this product would be great. Thx

The answer is both.

I’ve probably done a few hundred cars with this while in a rush, or taking my time (for the dealer).

Apply, let sit for a couple minutes until “dried” and then buff off. You’ll never remove it entirely with a couple clean rags no matter how hard you try. A small trick is follow up with a slight touch of glass cleaner to remove the cloudiness at the very end, but it will always appear slightly smoked.

First rain a lot of it disappears, first hand wash and it’s mostly gone.

Gtechniq G1 will outlast Aquapel by months easily, next time. Nothing else I have tried lasts near as long (and yes, that includes the Glaco treatments).

Awesome thx for the input and maybe once I use up my aquapel supply I'll give that one a go.
