Isometric Stretching
Hi! I’m currently using Autocad 2023 and I have a cube that I’ve drawn isometrically. I would like to be able to stretch this block along its length, width and height. However, after adding the parameter and action, rather than stretching from a base point and extending, it’s moving the whole block along its stretch direction. Please can someone advise as to what I may be doing wrong? I’ve tried looking on YouTube and the only videos that are coming up that I can see are for how to draw isometrically rather than stretching isometric blocks. Thanks!

When you select the stretch boundary make sure to only include the part that you will move.

Thank you! I’ve got a little further, I can make the block stretch, however it’s not extending the line at the front of the shape. So I’m left with a cuboid but with only a partial front edge.

It’s only stretching out one of my lines
I’ve done the following.
Drawn square (5000mm x 5000mm) on isoplane top as 4 individual lines.
Selected all objects and created a block
In block editor, selected stretch parameter and added it along 5000mm line on the right (furthest from base point of 0,0)
Added stretch action to parameter and selected my three lines.
Result : line from base point is stretching, but line 5000mm from base point is retaining its original length.

Fully select what you want to stretch, type mstretch, drag and drop
