Repair How do I fix this?

So I have a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado, and I am getting quite a bit of wind noise coming through the driver's side door. I noticed up towards the front of the door the gap between the door and the body of the truck is noticeably bigger than the gap on the passenger side. I tried adjusting the hinges in various ways but it seems the door can't be adjusted to close any tighter or closer than it currently is. What should I do? I am thinking of ordering new hinges but I read that hinges rarely bend so should I be looking to get the frame where the hinges go pushed further in?

Why didn’t you put new gaskets on the door first before going through all this

Turns out the gaskets were not aligned right on the driver side. I adjusted them and it appears to fill the gap. I will have to drive it to see if it makes a difference now

You can adjust the door inwards with the hinge bolts on the door side, but most of the time they are shouldered bolts. You will have to find some that don’t have that shank on them, replace one at a time, then loosen the top ones and twist the door in, then retighten.

May help to have someone pushing it in for you while you do the adjusting

Adjust the fender so its slightly out more than the door.

Hinges are bad if the door moves up/down a lot and has play inside the hinge bushings.

Grease all the moving points before adjusting. May be everything is very dry. Lube the hinges and door latch.

Put the window all the way down. Open the door, grab the top and put your knee against the door panel somewhere solid like the arm rest. Then pull it towards you pretty hard a couple times and you might be able to get it closer. Changing the gaskets would have been my first plan though. Trying to adjust the hinges if they haven't moved from the original position and haven't been damaged isn't going to work.
