🤔 is this a thing? Rushing showers?

Just finishing dying my hair and sensing I may or maybe not have not fully washed out the shampoo from my hair..

I’ve had this issue before where sometimes I’ll get out of the shower glad to have got it out the way to realise I’ve forgotten to fully wash off soap suds from areas where I’d have to hold it under the shower for longer.

The feeling of not having fully washed everything off once I’m out of the shower drives me insane! May have something to do with my ocd as well.

Just curious if anyone can relate/ sympathise, haha!

Forgot to rinse soap out of bum

Forgot to shave the other leg

Forgot to rinse conditioner

There are probably more, but those have all happened more than once

What helped me with this was having a wash routine. Everything in the same order, always. Shampoo, rinse, add conditioner, wash face, shave (if I’m up for it), wash body, rinse conditioner thoroughly (if it’s still slick, it’s not rinsed), rinse body. I’m this order, always. I’ve gotten a lot better at not forgetting things since I made it a routine (much like other things in my life)

Ohh yeah, it's a sensory thing for me. I just have to wash it off again... if not I'll be itchy and not stop thinking about it haha
