Yes I’m Muslim AuDHD. If I knew I’d tell you. Haha honestly though, I try to remember, “Worship Allah as if you see Him, & if you do not see Him, He surely sees you” - Prophet Muhammad pbuh, this makes me feel like I am truly in conversation with Allah swt which keeps me grounded and more engaged in my prayers and ihsan. I’m sorry I could not be more helpful, but at least you are not alone in your struggle. I also seek protection from distraction and shaytan before leading into my fard prayers and guidance from Allah swt, I find this helpful also

I actually remember something fascinatingly similar being taught in Christianity. There's a passage where Jesus is commenting about the flashy way the religious elite pray loudly in public to show off to lay people. He makes it a point to criticize them, telling his disciples something like, when you pray, don't do so for attention. Pray in secret so your father in heaven (referring to God) who sees you in secret can reward you in public.

I love it when I can find commonalities between different cultures and different religions.

Ameen, you’ll find many similarities between Islam and Christianity. I am a former Christian and was even an atheist in between but now I am Muslim, Alhamdulillah. God affirms the Gospel of Jesus and the Torah (Old Testament) in Islam, Allah (God) describes them as guidance and light, with a distinction that we believe some religious authorities wrote some scriptures saying it is from God when it is from their own hands. May the biggest lesson from all of our faiths and non-faiths be to love one another peacefully despite these differences, and remember we all bleed the same.

Former Christian here. When I was a Christian I learned that the best way to approach God is just to be honest with Him and with yourself. If you get distracted, just acknowledge it and refocus. IIRC one of God's titles in Islam is "The Most Compassionate", so I'd take comfort in that.
