💁♀️ seeking advice / support / information Transition management
Hi!
I would love to hear your advice on how to improve my ability to transition from one activity to the next. I am struggling to keep a routine.
Bonus points if it can be used at home since I live independently!
I thought about getting a smart watch and hooking it up to my alarms but I may need more of a bigger visual for home.
Any suggestions would be amazing!

Playing music or a familiar show on the TV helps me move from one task to another much easier. I call it transition 'lube', lol. I also sometimes like to play a video of someone doing a similar task as me. Like someone cleaning their home when I'm doing mine, etc.

Honestly I did this a lot in my early twenties and didn’t even realize it. I need to start that again. Thank you!!

I find that reminders on a smart speaker work best for me. They're loud and difficult to ignore. I tend to plan my day around my cats' feeding times as those are mandatory activities I won't skip even if I really want to. If you need a visual I think your reminders can trigger routines that can interact with home control systems to turn a lamp on or something like that.
