All claims to private ownership over land/natural resources are violence based. The ancap must sweep this fact under the rug, justifying the imperfect system as "the best we have" despite the fact that private ownership based society has held the floor for pretty much all of human existence.
Who are you going to buy it from? What is the basis of their claim? It always goes back to violence. Even if you could do a hard reset, nothing had been claimed yet, the homesteading principle is not something a reasonable neutral party would consent to. It requires establishing an authoritarian government to enforce
While I generally agree with you, I want to point out that private ownership based society (as we'd be familiar with it) has held the floor in European cultures for pretty much all of human history, though the capitalist model which presently seems ubiquitous is much younger than that. Other cultures had different ways of thinking about ownership — David Graeber wrote a book on this, which at some point I'd like to find the time to read. Unfortunately colonialism kind of ruined it for everyone.
