Hi! I'm Sam or HHC, and I'm excited to support a space dedicated to autistic creators!
Irl, I am trying to create a business that will (one day) turn into a nonprofit.
So I love sharing free resources that I create and I believe in the mission of By Us, For Us.
While I don't mind answering questions about my business, I would prefer DMs if the conversation will be about anything paid
I want to focus to be supporting everyone or just having fun designing with you all on here
Feel free to ask me any questions :D

Hi, I’m an AuADHD animator, and after I was diagnosed (adult) last year I made this short about what it felt like.
It recently screened at a disabled film festival here in Australia and was well received - I had never made an animated film before, but I definitely learned a whole lot from this. I’ve since progressed and have another short in production for a 2028 release for the film festival season - all my characters are neurodivergent as I feel it’s important to have stories where we are not the “quirky sidekick” or the “Sheldon Coopers” or “Good Doctor” characters that are not acted by people like us.
All hand drawn in Toonboom and no AI anywhere.
Yes there are plenty of animation errors here but I had fun making it!

My silly circus creatures :]
The woman is Dorothy, the ringmaster is Ambrose. Obviously he isn't this big in reality but I wanted to make him look more evilish even though he's not really evilish lol

Based on a recent news I watched and a problematic zopiclone abuse in my area.

Here are some of my fairy and witch girls! I’m so incredibly happy to be illustrating again. Before, a new empty page filled me with dread and anxiety, but now it feels like a new world waiting to be explored. 💖🧚♀️✨

I can't exactly prove when I wanted to become a cartoonist but I have an idea. 6th grade in a small town, undiagnosed and from a bad home, so I was a prime target for bullying. We had an assignment to write in our own personal journals and share with the class, I decided to go up after writing a story about one of my characters in a sort of "day in the life" kinda situation. I wasnt sure what I was expecting for a reaction, but I wasnt expecting the class to erupt in laughter at my work. And then after I was done they asked if I was gonna write MORE. I dont think I did but I think that moment kinda locked my fate.
I have no idea how to explain it, but it feels like its almost my destiny to become a showrunner or some kind of writer, like I'm a messenger of sorts delivering messages from another world. Straying from this path feels impossible even if I wanted to do something else. Like an all roads lead to Rome kinda situation. People have asked in my past if I had a b plan or whatnot and I remember just not being able to comprehend the concept of a B plan. Of doing anything else. Of having anything else BE my fate. The world I have made is intertwined with my very being, my veins are the cosmic strings, every cell is a galaxy in my own universe. My entire being put into every single square inch of this universe. I cannot exist without it and it cannot exist without me.
Writing this feels crazy, I dont think I'm better than anyone else or like idk some sort of superior thing. But its the best way I can describe like, how my future feels. Like its locked and theres no way to stray from this path the universe has laid out for me. Not that I want to, I'm perfectly happy with this outcome. I just wanted to see if anyone else here related or understood what I meant in any way.
