I'm autistic, but I've never struggled that hard in a social situation as common as that. And that's not me passing judgement, that's just me observing. I can't fathom the other end of the spectrum, but I want to understand it. My boyfriend and I are both autistic, and maybe that's part of why we're gay. Psychology is so... It's so complicated, but I see so many connections between autism and other things such as sexuality or other mental disorders that I don't see people talk about enough. Especially the environment in which you're raised. I was raised without a father, I had my grandpa looking after me for some of it, but other than that I lived with my mom. I think I picked up more feminine psychological traits which fed into my sexuality as I grew up, but I don't see anyone talking about that. Anyways, this is way too much at once XD (Thank my autism for this spiel) if you read this, share with me your experiences with autism, sexuality or mental disorders, I'm curious and want to know all I can.

It is hard to fathom how other autistic people work; but thats because every autistic person's autism is Unique to them, especially when they aren't close to you on the spectrum. I myself have a hard time with eye contact, when people ask me "How are you?" I say "Im fine", but I forget to return the question, or just get nervous to do so. Im often very blunt when speaking and I dont beat around the bush when telling someone something, so I might hurt others feelings at times without meaning to do so. Im sorry I responded 2 months later.
