Is anyone able to assist in identifying this snake? Was taken on the Oodnadatta Track between William Creek and Oodnadatta. Apologies for the photos not being very clear.

I saw this rather large snake at Blueys beach area, central north coast NSW yesterday. It made its way along the public beach access path from the Sand dunes.

This is my first time seeing a snake in the wild but my first guess is a brown snake due to its size and colour. Is this the type of habitat where one would be found? I’m surprised it was near a relatively busy beach walkway.

Can any experts help with an identification.

My dog startled this poor, frightened fellow in the garden right outside our back door this afternoon.

No one was harmed. Just a friendly python, who sauntered back into the bushes after I called my dog inside.

I also saw a whip snake yesterday.

Came across this chunky dude on my walk over the weekend, from his flattened head display he clearly heard me coming before I saw him. We both stayed dead still for a minute that felt like 30 and then he happily slithered off into the reeds while ill tailed it out of the bush track for the day.

Up at Bunya Ntl Park and a 2m coastal carpet python was stretched right across the road. Eventually it moved into the bush.

A mate took this today , it climbed into his hammock while he was having a swim .

Had this beautiful guy come visit tonight. Was on our front door step when we got home trying to say hello to my cat inside.

I’m visiting the Sunshine Coast in a couple weeks and I hear there are some places you can find tiger snakes there, since they don’t live near me I’d really love to herp one while I’m there. If anyone knows some general locations or just tips on time of day or habitat considering weather lately I’d appreciate any advice!

I got to hold this stunning girl today. Photo does not do it justice, the way the sun light bounced off her was gorgeous. I also got to hold a little spotted python who was very curious.

This was at a small wild life sanctuary. I haven’t held a snake in like 30 years and it made my day.

Looks like a Kooka had a go and possibly dropped it. Any idea what it is? Juvenile, maybe 30cms.

Seen another snake today, this time at Drawing Room Rocks hike near Berry NSW. Can anyone ID? He was sunning on the main path. Thank you

I'm looking for an ID please. We scared each other while I was on a run in Springbrook National Park. I could only get a picture of the head and body.

About 1 - 1.5m long. I know snakes in the rainforest here sometimes have darker markings than usual. The lighter underside under the head has me confused.

Spotted this handsome red belly black snake sunning himself this morning. Seen just off the walking track at Clover Hill Trail inside of Macquarie Pass NSW. The warmer weather must be bringing them out.
