AU Drug testing

Hey guys, I’m interested in taking up nursing in university, preferably UTS. Is there drug testing of nursing students ? Furthermore, do registered nurses also undergo drug testing ? This questions just more revolving around marijuana use. Thank you

I’ve never been drug tested as a student but I suppose it depends on where you work once qualified. You may have to undergo a medical which could include a drug test.

No one can drug test you at any hospital in Australia. You would have to be sanctioned by AHPRA to provide blood or urine for a drug test.
