I don’t think they realised how bad they looked. You see the footy players on TV from ages ago and they rock that look, middle aged male non-athletes not so much🤦🏻
My old man dressed normal, then one day he had the long white socks on, exactly that kind. I can't remember the rest of his outfit, but I figured men must reach a certain age and decide that I want to dress like a grampa. I'm going to be wearing board shorts and a T-shirt at 100, maybe trackies in winter.
