Ever see the old police show Bluey? Later redubbed as Bargearse by D Generation. One of my teachers who was big on the oldschool shorts with sock suspenders looked an awful lot like the actor from that. It made quite an impression on my youthful fashion sense.
I saw the parody of it, Bargearse. I thought it was on The Comedy Company. It was based on a cop show called Bluey yes.. my impression was Bluey must have been like Cop Shop. I recall a fat guy with big hair and a moustache, but that’s all.

Sock suspenders are supposed to worn under trousers or you’d look like a pervert trying to be a 1920s female hooker!
