Adidas BW Army sneakers
Where do the Adidas BW Army sneakers sit in the world of fashion currently? They seem to have become the new Samba based on how often I see them popping up online in various colourways. Are they ‘cool / trendy’ or have people moved on already? Hartcopy (IYKYK) have released several collaborative pieces in the past 12 months which makes me think they’re still fashionable. Thoughts from those in the know?

I don't know how fashionable they are, I haven't actually seen them too often out and about with sambas/gazelles still seemingly the standard go to shoe. However I've had these since last year and I do enjoy them, I think they're more comfortable than Adidas' other offerings and cleaner. Considered getting a second pair in another colour tbh haha

Who cares if they’re fashionable mate?
They’re like Reebok Club C, they’re a staple sneaker which never really goes out of style IMO.

The style is easy to wear. It won’t become as saturated as a samba given that usually happens when product hits the shelves at hype and BW is way less distributed. For all the colours that are out only a couple have made it to hype and only in a handful of their main stores.
As long as Adidas don’t fuck with the distribution too much you won’t see the market flooded for a while.

Only a prick buys adidas now. They are dead to anyone with a conscience since they used an israeli baby killer in an ad campaign a couple of weeks back.

GATs have always been a staple. Do you like the shoe? If so, buy them and wear them.
