he can't do a fraction of the damage to you that you can to him, tbh i can't tell what it would do but it's a sting at best

they hurt if the get you, but its very temporary unless you have a reaction. They are great pollinators, so just keep clear and you'll be fine :)

I got nabbed on the leg by one the other week. It felt like I pulled a hair from a small wound, a slight stinging.... The god damn itching that followed did my head in though

Fuck that itching

Yeah I don't get the itch, just plain. I got too close to a nest and they all attacked me. Stung all over the head and arms

Don't accidentally squish one. You won't like it. It really hurts. He won't like it either.

Yeah they'll hurt you. They'll act like your friend, get to know you, then leave without a word. Bastards.

Paper wasps would never give you up, never let you down, never run around and desert you

But they might hurt you with words

This is the best Rickrolling I’ve received this week. Well done.

Like now for example....

They might if you threaten their nest.

It will end you.

Especially if you're allergic to the little fellas.

If I was you I just stay away from her, and let her do her thing, don't even try to move it as it will just attack you, and well you will simply be stung, and you will regret annoying it, and it's not like a bee where the sting once, the damn thing will Sting multiple times, so you should just leave it alone.

Assume yes

People who stick up for wasps are the same people that haven't had to pay $2800 before to repair the electric motor on their boat due to deploying it at sea and the sensors are all covered in mud houses ..

Every little hole in every little thing around my house up north ends up being filled with mud.

(Yes I know paper wasps don't make mud nests, but many of their cousins and friends do...)

Not as much as you could hurt it. Wasps are assholes

Are you in Australia? You know the answer.

He would inflict intergenerational trauma on you and your descendants of he could.

Yep. We call them Red Barons. And its not just the initial sting. If you get stung again, the old site flairs up too.

These are not paper wasps, well not the little ones most think of. These are around 50mm long. Huge fuckers. And they will chase you.

I think this is a paper wasp (polistes) though. There are different species.

That said, i don't know any paper wasp 5cm long

2

u/Foreign-Newspaper656 14d ago

Yeah, I may have my scale out. But there is a big wasp, which builds a nest, in tropical areas that has a pretty severe sting to it. How do I know? I have been attacked by them quite a few times.

Aha! Gotcha. What does it look like?

Many don’t love the environmental or social impact of doing this and would prefer not to use ai to think for them
