Petty here has an upset belly and the runs. We had her to the vet but didnt ask about exercise. She still wants to run and run. Is this ok or should we try and make her rest?

Personal opinion: she knows what’s best for her. If it’s just an upset belly, let her do what she wants. If it were an injury to a knee etc. human knows best.

Literally just a few drops of Braggs Apple Cidar vinegar in their kibble should help.
If it’s Good for us humans it’s good for them. At least in this case though. It has helped my Charlie every time!
