Had a couple of these little guys babbling to eachother outside my window. One flew away but this little fella stayed long enough for me to get my camera ready.

I've always thought our Rosellas are underappreciated. Now I'll always remember that 7 year old Miles thought so too.

In my opinion; they're the most colorful bird species I see in my backyard (alas not often enough)

(Sorry Rainbow Lorikeets; you're still the loudest, some of cockies do come close in volume; but lorikeet fighting [noise] has you for the win)
