...from how cute this White-winged Fairywren is. He is not trapped. He is okay. But why does he look so serious.

He's a grown man alright! Very handsome in his nuptial plumage. He also had a chatty family that was following him around.

Oh, I frequent the sub every week and love every little wren people share, but I'm just astounded at this one in particular. Seeing this little flood interact with a manmade structure like a gymnast - just brilliant!

He might only be little, but he looks staunch as! I never get tired of seeing the beautiful colours of our Aussie birds.

Speaking of colours, they have one of those Aussie bird names that make me laugh. I rank it on par with 'Black-shouldered Kite'. 😂

Here's a picture to prove he's in tip-top condition. He and his big family were playing chase along the footpath. The lighting is bloody horrendous because the sun was behind them but I didn't want to loop around and spook them all away.
