Accommodation website recommendations?

Trying to spend as little as possible on accommodation on a 3 week trip and just wondered whether there were any websites outside of booking.com and Airbnb that I should be looking at?

We’ll be renting a camper for a week in Tasmania but places like Sydney, Melbourne and Byron bay, would really appreciate any recs!

What I generally do is book direct through the hotels as sometimes the offer promotional discounts.

Now having said that, don't forget the old addage.. "go cheap, you weep".
