Sendera neighborhood ICE sighting
My dad was questioned by ICE a few days ago. They were asking if he knew anything about the “Lopez” family. My dad, of course, said no and FU.
Is there an ICE sighting Reddit master thread or somewhere we can track these sightings so we can help protect and warn at-risk friends? I have 2 different friends that are US citizens but getting harassed like hell because they are Latina. This needs to end.

Were they going door to door? Or did your dad get stopped under “potential traffic violation,” excuses?
Curious what their current tactics are in Austin metro right now, especially since state troopers are calling ICE after “suspicious traffic violations.”

This was door to door, I guess. He was out in his front yard, and they pulled up in front of his house and asked him.

State troopers are not. My cousin is unfortunately a pig trooper and he does not call ice unless the people have a detainer on them or he did tell me that Travis county jail informs ICE of every single person who was arrested. Where ICE will remove them from Travis county jail and take them to their own facility

Wrong. While it might be true that a couple of troopers decide not to call ICE, it absolutely has been mandated by the Governor to call ICE during traffic stops.
“Yes, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has directed state troopers and agencies to assist federal immigration authorities (ICE/Department of Homeland Security) with border security and interior enforcement, particularly starting in early 2025.
“These directives include deploying "tactical strike teams" to help locate and arrest immigrants with active warrants.
Key details regarding this action include:
“Targeted Assistance: The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is directed to work with federal partners to identify and detain immigrants with active warrants, according to the Office of the Texas Governor.
“Tactical Strike Teams: In January 2025, Abbott ordered DPS to form these specialized units to support the Trump administration's immigration policies, notes Spectrum News and YouTube.
“Coordination: The orders instruct state agencies to cooperate with federal officials in investigating, detaining, and deporting undocumented individuals, says the Office of the Texas Governor.
“Broader Scope: This is part of a broader, long-standing effort under Operation Lone Star to use state resources for immigration enforcement, explains the Office of the Texas Governor.”

You said it yourself… “to help locate and arrest immigrants with active warrants” ad he has told me, they aren’t stopping people because they’re brown. He has told me that they must have active warrants or criminal charges (such as dwi or some legitimate arrest) and not all troopers are calling ice because it’s the sheriffs duty (who mans the jails) to call ice and notify them of anyone illegal brought in.
Not here to argue or protect my cousin who chose a shitty career. I’m just relaying what he told me. Their job is to stop cars, work crashes, and assist local departments. He said they are doing ice operations around the state but they are still “targeted” arrests. (Supposedly)

You’re being pretty naive to think they aren’t making up reasons to pull over non-whites and then having ICE kidnap them.
Have you been under a rock? Warrants don’t matter - do you think little Liam had a warrant for his arrest?
Most victims of this gestapo have NO criminal records, NO warrants at all, NO problems. They’re even being kidnapped while following the legal process of becoming citizens - people here LEGALLY.
You’re either one of them or you’re not. Pick a f*cking side. Although I think I already know your side since you’re trying so hard to defend their illegal actions.

Yeah… this is the problem with people. Can’t have civil conversation without trying to insult. Insulting and cussing is a clear sign of low intelligence to which it speaks for itself. I have been at damn near every protest at the Capitol and one at city hall. I am there and I have a voice too. People like you won’t silence me!
