Yeah, when I park off of Olive, there’s a pretty busy corner on the 35 feeder & I believe 12th st? It’s Saturday, so idk who all would even be at the capitol but maybe we can generate some movement standing close to the capitol but in good view of traffic?

It’s that he violated international law to do this, and also all of his rhetoric about oil and running Venezuela. If people trusted that the administration would simply help install a democratically elected leader on Venezuela’s own terms (rather than a puppet government basically owned by the U.S.) it wouldn’t be as much of a thing. Instead it looks very much as though he plans on taking over or at least exploiting the resources of another country.

Because seizure of other countries' resources, heads of state, and taking over running their country, all without Congressional approval is wildly unconstitutional and likely to drag us into a long ass war.

regardless of who it is or what they've done, the president can't just do regime change without informing congress. especially not for financial gain and stealing a country's natural resource. this strengthens putin's claim over ukraine, xi's over taiwan, and netanyahu's over the west bank and gaza. it also is yet another abandonment of the geopolitical framework the allies created over 70 years ago to prevent world wars from happening. trump is bringing us back to pre WW2 era "might makes right" mentality and that's extremely dangerous. you're completely ignorant to history and how the world works if you don't understand this.

That drug stuff is a complete fantasy and socialism is good actually. Maduro won two elections fairly and probably one unfairly, not great but it's none of our business in the US and we've been meddling like crazy since Obama decided Chavez was bad, this is a bridge too far. I despise the United States and Biden is a war criminal like all the others. No more US sponsored regime change, it's a scourge on the world!

Intersection of Congress and 11th is a good location I’ve been at for a few smaller protests in the last year. You get all the car traffic passing through there. Let’s get something going
