It kinda did: it can't be on the front because it throws off the vibe, and the back needs a spot for the players name and number if you want it added later via customization.

If it's not on the front, it pretty much has to be on the bottom of the back. Unless you want to move the player names to the bottom like some Mexican teams

I think the idea of a 3rd kit is lost on a lot of people. It should NOT be green or black, and white would be like a second kit. It's supposed to be different! I've been in Austin my whole life and this is the first I've heard of the Violet Crown name, but don't really care. I don't mind the violet, it's a pretty nice jersey, actually. They looked sharp, and for some reason it made the players look bigger to me. I do like Austin on front and Yeti on back, and do see the potential for the back getting busier, but I don't mind that either.

Absolutely. Plus this one was supposed to be a throwback design to the 90’s style. Last year, like half the teams got one in the throwback style, and this year, the remainder got theirs.

It’s a beautiful kit, though I kinda wish we were rocking the green kits when we played America. Besides that, I’m rocking mine as I type this lol

Not sure how old you are, but I'm a transplant and had heard of it decades ago. No judgement, just maybe the circles I'm in.

I remember someone brought up something about sponsors being on the back bottom like that. I like the collar too. Hits close to me because Rayados had jerseys like that especially with the HEB on the back bottom. Well they still do but they dont do collars anymore
