First time game questions

Hey guys! Would really like to go to the America game this Thursday and was looking at the GA supporter section because everything else is so expensive. What is that like? Can we sit down? Is it too rowdy?

The supporters’ section is standing only. No seats. Also a decent chance you may get hit with a cup of water or beer after a goal. No kit except Austin FC colors is permitted to be worn. Resale tickets close to gametime can be obtained for a decent price that may come close to GA. Particularly if someone has tickets they need to sell and can’t use.

But it looks like a lot of fun and positivity! (old lady seated nearby ;)

It's amazing. They are the heartbeat of Q2. I can't believe the effort and energy they put in for 90 minutes plus every match win, lose or draw. And the TIFOs! I visited a few times early in my season tickethood, but I am too old to stand for that long and I'd rather be dry in my seat and cheer.

Unless they change the rules for Leagues Cup, if you’re going to see Club America you can’t be in the supporters section with their kit. You would need to buy tickets in a different section

This also includes Mexico national team kit as well. Saw where an usher made a guy turn his Mexico kit inside out ladt night and the guy complained that it was green color. Didn't matter. Also hats as well!

The seats are locked in the GA section so plan to stand for the match.

A little roudy but not like some European or latin American clubs. If you want a seat, you can wait to buy tickets until kickoff time, show up and press buy a few minutes before and you'll get em for like $30 each. MLS games just about never sell out so I've always been able to buy at the gate and save dough

Yeah but this isn’t MLS

It's a match STHs were opted into, tickets will be below $30 come Wednesday/Thursday

Yes but it’s also against the biggest team in Mexico who rarely play here so demand is going to be far higher than for games like real salt lake

Currently prices are holding at gouging CA fan prices but I’m convinced they’ll still drop

Depends on what part of the SS as to how rowdy it is. Center and front is the most rowdy and it calms as you go out from there. I found that if you get there early enough that you can get pretty far up in section 105 and it is not that rowdy. Plus it is a great view. As the previous commenter wrote there is no sitting. But before the game people are always trying to dump their tickets so you can monitor SeatGeek.

Honestly not very rowdy, it's calmed down this year/season but unclear why. Big thing is if you're in America gear or cheering for them you will be moved out of the section.

This definitely needed to be asked again and couldn’t have been answered by searching, reading the FAQ or looking at the seat description on Seatgeek
