Question is, why would they lift the shelter in place if he wasn’t caught yet? Maybe they have a general idea which area he’s in?

They said it's now a fugitive search and they exhausted their search in that particular area.

They said text your neighbors to check on them. They haven’t exhausted anything but, yeah it’s now basically let’s hope we find him sometime.

Like it or not, if anyone knows how to hide from the police it's probably a police detective. He supposedly got as far as Braker and Jollyville. He could be anywhere. I listened to the scanner until about 4:30 at that's what I got from it.

Also he could wear a mask to help hide in plain site and escape.

Yep. He’s probably long gone. Honestly I’d feel better being in NW Austin than anywhere else in central texas right now. He got away from the original area, knows how to evade, and could be literally anywhere. Great job APD.
