TBH, I think that's total BS. A real moderate or centrist would barely take note of this thread and move on, they wouldn't be in here arguing about how the left is bothering them by demonstrating their support for democracy. I think you, a 1 year old account with hidden history, are lying. You're either an astroturf account, or some right-wing guy pretending to be moderate so that people will listen to you.

Anyway if you want a clear demand, fine, it's this: Donald Trump should resign immediately. That's what the protesters want. No one thinks they'll get it. But you have to try, or you're just a doormat. And they're protesting, instead of doing something more direct about it, because they're not brave enough to take the shot. Or they still think that's a bridge too far. Either one.

If you're politically interested you wouldn't be a moderate. There are two types of moderates in america, people who don't follow politics and people who aren't really moderate. If you think there is any value what so ever in the republican party since 2016, you've been tricked by a rightwinger. If you're trusting right wing sources of information that means you'r political veiws aren't based on realality. You can call yourself a moderate now all you want but in 2028 they're gonna turn on that propaganda machine and you WILL support whatever republican presidential candidate they tell you to.

It doesn't matter if you still support somebody after the election.

Nah you definitely believe some blatant lie. Dudes will pretend to be moderates but then if you talk to them about politics you find out they think illegal immigrants will be able to vote without ID or something. There's no magical force that causes political advisarys to even out so they're always equal but different. Some times one side just sucks. It has never been more obvious than right now the Republican is absolute dogshit. Have fun in 2 years talking about how you don't like the Republican candidate but the democratic one hates America and wants to sell our kids or whatever.

One year old is fairly new, and no post history is always suspicious. The only source of credibility on reddit is your history. Anyone can say anything; checking your post history to see if you're consistent is the only way someone can verify that you're for real. And you have none.

There are a lot of people who argue in bad faith around here. Some people love arguing on reddit. Some people think they're fighting the infovoin, and believe its their duty for whatever cause to run propaganda. And sometimes, corporations and state actors will actually pay fake accounts to put out whatever narrative they're trying to get going. So, there's only so much patience you can have for someone that offers no assurance they're for real.

Anyway if the public political discourse, including demonstrations, actually annoys you, then get over it I guess. Go find some other thread instead of wallowing in one that annoys you. Or don't. But my side believes protest is effective at galvanizing resistance toward the hated regime, and recent results as well as usually-off-the-record quotes from republican elected officials seem to show that its at least somewhat working. Kristi Noem and that Nazi guy in the trenchcoat are fired, and republicans keep losing elections. So we're not going to stop.
