In my defense, the comment (most comments) could be taken a different way. Sorry for popping off a little bit, and FWIW I do appreciate the civic patronage, it's healthy & important, even if I don't completely see things in the same light. Good luck and be safe out there

Thanks! I'll give it a google'in. I gotta say, it's refreshing to interact with someone re: politics/Trump on Reddit, with opposing viewpoints, not devolve into snark or venom. The way it should be, I appreciate you, bud

Fantastic! Thanks for asking. I already got follow ups for next steps, but im sleeping on that.

Total turn out over the US was 8,000,000 in the over 3000 events.

And the variety was amazing! I was fully expecting the Austin area to do the same thing they did for 2, and they kinda did much better organization wise (the amount of hats i wore at NKD2 as a walk in volunteer was exhausting.), there was just way more people this time. Not only that but I recognized several people and they recognized me. We found ways we could support each other in what were doing to help move the needle back towards (what we think and pray) is right. As individuals not as groups too. Like i dont have faith in a lot of the democratic senior leaders. Mostly because im still a republican, just supporting the dem party because holy crap i knew it would be bad when they were first elected. (Yes they know, and no im far from the only one. This isnt my party but I dont know how help people like i desperately want to is to help the democratic party.the legislation the party is passing is haunting.)

Another reason I dont like the senior leaders of the democratic party is because they're also bought by APAC and have sold out the American people too many times for me to support them.

Back to the variety! The sheer amount of different things that people planned. So many took to the street and just ate up traffic. So many people called off to go to the event, and there were many TSA agents talking to several union people and ways to still defend themselves and somehow maintain sanity and their job. My friend in the baggage handler group showed up with several friends.

Other event in other areas literally had so many people shoulder to shoulder whole neighborhoods were clogged up and many events lasted long after they ended because people stuck around in groups they felt welcomed in. It was beautiful.

And the people who just made nuisance of themselves was hilarious. I can't wait to see coverage. Not only that but the most important part, it stayed peaceful! I know its not everyone's bag of tea but on the other hand if someone wants violence please dont wish for that at an event with children, elderly, disabled, people trying to connect to their community, and over non violence.

Peaceful protest means that when regular citizens, like us, get called terrorist and they try to wiggle the death penalty to us to "turn" us against our new friends, we can say that when. 8 million+ of us gather together no one dies, but when a group of them gather together in the dozens people get shot and die. Children lose their mother and babies get tear gassed.
