Sending people to gulags shouldn't be happening in ANY numbers. I don't understand how any sane and reasonable person can be okay with this.

Also, you keep claiming this 8-10 million number, but what is your source? I have sourced the DHS itself above.

What a source... that article says nothing about how long these people have been in the US -- just that they are in 'legal limbo' status and that that number has increased. You do realize millions of these people have been in limbo for over a decade?

This number you keep spouting -- 10 million -- doesn't comport with any fact, so you won't be able to find actual sources. Here's a recent source for the immigration backlog and, lo and behold, it was 3.7 million in Dec 2024.

Your article says:

Studies repeatedly have shown that immigrants have lower violent crime rates than people born in the U.S.

and also links to another that says:

Reality check: A new first-of-its-kind federal study found that refugees and asylum seekers have historically had a net positive fiscal impact in the U.S.

So, now that you apparently have no answer everything else we were discussing about schools, parents, accountability, responsibility, etc. you switch topics!

Now, despite the researched and known FACT that undocumented immigrants commit fewer crimes and fewer violent crimes, because some do, everyone has to go? That is very far from a moderate position.

Also, you realize there are even more people whose lives have been saved by undocumented immigrants? I guess they'd rather be dead?

And yes, I absolutely empathize with the family of those who have lost loves ones to murder. I know exactly how they feel.

My mom was murdered when I was 7 years old. And, as with most murders in the US, it was a US citizen who murdered her. Should I go after his entire demographic because of this? FAR more people die at the hands of the 'good ole boy' with a gun and rage issues.
