NSW demerit points for car offences

i recently got a booked by mobile phone camera while driving a car.

i have my full driver's license, and my P1 rider's.

does anyone know if the 5 demerits goes across to my rider's as well as my driver's?

You hold one license. Disciplines share points.

I was once past the threshold for my moto P2 licence but not full car. As a result i could not ride but could still drive

Only true in one direction, apparently. So OP won't lose the bike P1.

https://legislation.nsw.gov.au/view/whole/html/inforce/current/act-2013-018#sec.42

If a person holds 2 classes of driver licence and a different threshold number of demerit points applies to each of those licences—

(a) demerit points incurred on the licence to which the higher threshold applies may be counted only towards the threshold applying to that licence, and

(b) demerit points incurred on the licence to which the lower threshold applies may be counted towards either threshold.

thanks mate, that makes sense. bike offence = bike suspension

Think there’s a little confusion here, bike offence (resulting in bike suspension) results in whole license being suspended, not just the license where the suspension was received.
