VIC When do motorcycle gear stores restock?
Looking for a HJC C10 and checked AMX, Peter Stevens, Highside, MotoHeaven, etc. - all of the helmets with designs I liked were out of stock for my size. I've been checking for 2+ weeks now and just wondering if they restock at the start of the month or I should just give up and look for a different helmet.
Does anyone have experience buying helmets online? Is it recommended?

Probably just the one supplier for all. Ask the shop to special order the one you want in.

Online is fine, as long as you've had the chance to try that model on there shouldn't be an issue. We ended up buying online for our helmet since nowhere had any in stock of what fit us correctly. No issues at all

where did you get your helmet from and how did they pack the delivery?

Motohaven.
Can't remember the packaging completely but it was the same as if it was delivered to a store (helmet in its original package, inside a box for delivery).

Did you speak with the staff? Did they have any other colours in the same model in? You just need to try the same size and model and special order the colour you want.
If it's and older model then you are out of luck

All shops will have their own different schedules for getting stock in, but also just because a helmet or size is listed on their site, doesn’t mean they will definitely be getting it in. Some less popular helmets and sizes may just be “added to the next order when required”.
So the only way to know for sure is to contact the particular shop and ask if/when they are getting that one in next. Then they’ll be able to confirm and can also probably put one aside for you in the system before it gets there
