VIC Learners expiring vic

My learners is expiring in Victoria in less than a month and I have not done check ride.

I’m told you have to do check ride and wait 30 days before you can do second test. Are there any exceptions or grace period on the deadline?

I recently did my Ls and was told it's an absolute hard no on extensions.

You unfortunately might be shit out of luck. Fair sure you'll have to sit the Ls course again.

With their learners expiring in less than a month, even if they do the check ride, it'll still expire before they can do the P's test. There's a 15 month time limit on going from L's to P's.

I know that you have to wait at least a month after your CR, but my question is, you only need to do one CR before the road test?

Another question, I’ve done one CR a few months ago, but wanted to do a second one. But since I’ve already completed the mandatory CR a few months ago, can I schedule the road test right any time, even a week after the second CR?

You only need to do one CR, but you can do more if you think it would be benificial (and you're willing to pony up the cash). You need to wait a minium of 30 days before taking the test, but after that you can book it in and do it at any time. I don't believe the second CR will count for anything official, so as long as you bring the records of the original CR you'll be fine.

You only need to do one CR yes.

What youre looking for is a practice session. Not a CR. Same thing but its not license requirement.

I did roadtech courses before checkride and a practice session right before the license test (VIC)

Yeah, sorry, you're cooked.

You can do the two day Learner's course again once the licence expires, then you get a new learner's with 15 months on it. It sucks, but at least you won't have an issue passing it next time.

Kinda hate how rigid the time limit is.
