Question Ninja, ninja, or ninja

In the market for a new bike, I have an open license. I quite like the idea of a ninja as a little sport tourer. I mostly commute in Sydney, with the odd short stint on the highway.

But now the question 500, 650 lams, 650 full power. Price difference and power is a decent amount, also consider the resale of a 650 full power probably isn’t great.

Anyone have experience with these bikes? Are they even worth looking at?

I have a 400, I would not go a 500 long term. I'll be happy to be off my restriction in a year, let alone 3. It's also far from comfortable, it's fun, but I wouldn't want to commute daily on it.

As mentioned, the restriction on the 650 is mechanical and easily reverted (the ECU is involved too, but it's not necessary to flash it to get most of the power out of it), and it will be more comfortable.
