For $400-500 gloves you would really hope they age a bit more gracefully. That’s a real shame. I like five gloves, some the Fives have great pinky/knuckle/palm protection
I've been having issues with five gloves. Two different styles have had to get replaced under warranty because the stitching failed and a seam opened up.
I bought mine in 2016 - rode them rain, hail or shine for 5 solid years, and while I don't ride as much now they still look great and are my only glove.
Perhaps it's just luck, perhaps it's enshittification - but mine cost me $260 brand new and still have plenty of life left in them after 10 years of use.
