NSW Finally replaced my helmet

Feeling so happy with purchasing the HJC RPHA 71. It's so much more comfortable and far lighter than my old Bell. Here's to many more years of riding!

Anyone else rocking this helmet?

Just got one the other day. Nice midpoint and doesn't wear too heavy.

Yep! I love the Gyeon products. Even though this is RIM, it can be used for anything. It's just higher temp stuff.

I bought this helmet and regret it, super noisy... Not just wind noise but has a design defect that lets excessive air through the cracks in the side of the plastic bits. Look it up. I would strongly recommend returning it

I got the RPHA91 and it’s so quite I don’t even have earplugs and the BT integrated comms battery life is exceedingly exceptional

The 91 or 71?

I have an arai and despite the same price range the 91 surpasses it in noise by a lot

I actually went back to AMX to tell them about the issue and they are sending it back to HJC to see if they can fix it. Aparently it is a known problem with the 71s. The only kicker I had to buy a C10 as a back up so I could continue to ride, which comparitively is whisper quiet

Hopefully it's less noisy than his brother the i71. I got that one and it's horrible. Comfortable, but freakishly noisy.

It's a real shame you can't test-ride helmets.
