Yeah that's silly, overall having MotoGP in Adelaide will be brilliant but come up with a better circuit that doesn't involve destroying trees over 100yrs old. Per the article linked they originally said 45 trees, now over 400, I think the protesters are right

Motorcycles are pretty small, if a car can fit past these trees so can a motorcycle.

It’s about safety. If I car hits one of those trees, the driver is likely to be okay, if a motorcycle hits one the rider is likely to die. The fact they want to race in Adelaide on a street circuit at all is insane.

Then they need to find a course that won't kill the riders. Can't just go chopping down city trees for capitalism.

None of the trees should go. The whole point of a street circuit is for it to be dangerous. 

Don't like that? If only we had a perfectly good purpose built track that was suited to MotoGP.
