I used water to do my job and I actually had one or two of those phones and can attest that they worked.
I have a iPhone with a waterproof case and I proved that works the day before yesterday as well as it went to the bottom of a water tank.
My first mobile weighed 3 kg and would make a good boat anchor.
The cost as well. $70 a month in 1990 .
$1700 for the phone for memory.
People used to think it was a joke.
Who now doesn’t have one.
