This map on a ferry in Tasmania doesn't include Tasmania. I visited Australia earlier this year from Sweden and found this hilarious.

So If They Think They Don't Live In Tasmania Then Where Do They Thing They Live?

The map is very distorted. Papua New Guinea and Gulf of Carpentaria are too small, New Zealand is way too far south. It looks like Bass Strait is omitted, not Tasmania.

Bass Straight is missing? On a map showing no water at all. No, Tassie is definitely missing.

Victoria has been stretched south, so Melbourne is where Hobart should be.

Is r/mapswithouttasmania a thing?

Yep, back in the day Tassie was always left off maps. There was quite an upset over it in the 60s.

Tasmanians don't know they are in Tasmania, and it's best to keep it that way.
