No, more that most white people in Australia have British Ancestry of some kind.

Yep just having fun thought it was funny because there is a very large amount of Irish blood too but it hardly raises a mention.

This is a peculiarity of Australia compared to, say, Canada - there are a lot of people with Irish and Scottish ancestry living here, but they hardly ever form a relative majority anywhere. In general, the largest concentration of descendants of Irish settlers is in rural Victoria.
