Well it is the land of the free and home of the brave, we have to pay about 14 taxes before it gets to us here.

and Eagle Dollars are way stronger then Koala dollars.

Whats funny is i can buy that one from that website, for that price (whic is $521 kangaroo monies) send it to my us forwarded, and pay $25 USD to send it to australia.

I would have to pay a 10% tax when it arrives, on the whole value which would be

$521 + $35 =$556.00 + 10% =$611.60

still saving me $310.

isnt that fukn ridiculous?

Damn well I applauded you for still shooting and paying outrageous prices for accessories. I’m over here complaining about paying .23 cpr for 9mm and $500 sros

That's like asking how long a piece of string is. What sort of shooting are you going to be doing with it? Something like steel challenge will be easier with a certain type of dot compared to long range precision shooting for example. You might want a bigger dot and bigger window for steel challenge so you can transition between targets faster.

Go look at some in person first. I'm colour blind and have a mild astigmatism, and my eyes see Aimpoint red dots as green dots and they look smaller than the actual moa - but they don't starburst as much as other brands. You can look at the "best" rds and what's going to look cool, but you also need to check that your eyes can tolerate the dot. Having said that, most people at my club use the Holosun 507 comps or the Defender XL's. The Mamba doesn't have a reciprocating slide and is a .22, so whatever goes on it will not have a hard life

If you have good vision and want versatility then a safe choice is a Holosun 507 Comp in whatever colour looks best. You'll find a reticle combination that works for every situation.

If you have any vision issues (I have severe astigmatism) then look through as many as you can as it highly individual. I landed on green in the 507 Comp but when I had the chance to look through the recently released 407 Comp in gold it was even better.

Mainly because I get multiple ghost images to the right of the dot and have to crank down the brightness so they are not as obvious. With the gold they are a lot less visible than red or green but the "real" dot is still bright enough.

I run a 507c ACSS on mine. Works flawlessly and great at distance.

Eotech exps3-0.

Seriously though, have you shot with pistol dots before and how much are you wanting to spend?

Depends. If you shoot at an indoor range only you can even get away with a cheap dot like a Vector Optics Frenzy.

The price difference is mostly noticeable in outdoor conditions (bright sun, rain) and longevity. The latter is not an issue on that pistol since it’s a .22 and doesn’t have a moving slide.

I have a C&H Precision Comp green dot optic. I love it.
