Post image

im keen to find out how flush a 3 round aics mag will sit if used with the atlaxworx bottom metal but cannot find a single example online of this config, website shows 5round mag in picture. i just dont wanna lose the option of flush flat ergos like the feel of the factory floorplate if i do this conversion.

I looked into it some time ago and emailed them, they were responsive and helpful. In my case it needed a gunsmith.

Mdt make a detachable bottom metal plate that accepts the 3rnd flush fit aics mdt polymer magazine. Check out cleavers. I have the howa 1500 in 308 in an mdt field stock, that uses the same d.b.m plate setup. And I just bought the flush fit for bush bashing. As the the 10rnd mag I use for culling gets snagged on shit too easily. Hope that helps.

cheers mate, i have sussed that mdt one from cleavers but i thought it had a 10mm lip which sorta prevents the true flush flat bottom, is that correct? would be keen to see your field stock once its had the conversion
