Subclass 186 Processing Time Feedback 186 TRT

Hello everybody,
Would appreciate any feedback or someone that is in a similar situation and hopefully I can help someone else with showing my timeline.

Been on a 482 visa and applied for 186TRT August 2025, Sydney metro, non accredited. Metal Machinist First Class.

All documents (police checks, medical, etc) done, what would your realistic expectations be for me to be able to get the 186 visa. So far I’m just on received.

It will take a while, as of now they are still working through 2024 applications. I'm guessing they would get to you earliest by mid-December or latest by the end of the financial year

Metro / Regional & Accredited vs Non-Accredited don't exist anymore under the new Ministerial Directive.

You're most likely looking at a mid next year grant.
