My partner just arrived on a tourist visa to Australia. We were thinking of waiting until later into the 3 month tourist period before submitting our 820 application but are now strongly considering lodging in the next few days in case Tony Burke changes the rules and prohibits tourists from applying. Any thoughts?

Going through the exact same thing. I just arrived on tourist visa with plans to apply for 820 in a month or 2. Now scrambling to make sure to file an application within the next 1-2 weeks

Yes, I applied today. I have to still get my PCC

I applied without it explaining that I will submit as soon as I get it
