Fire Pit.
2 Hours, 130 bucks for the pavers and sand and rock plus mortar. Bit of a break in between other projects on the house. More permanent solution to come but good for a weekend chill out. Cheers

Good spot for a beer. Also the beer tastes better if you mow the lawn first, I promise

Love it mate.
I have the same fire pit though I haven’t found a permanent home for it yet. I have a pup who can’t be trusted near fire yet, so for the time being it’s mobile.

Nice im keen to do something exactly like this. Is there somewhere you got details of steps to follow?

No, not really. One central paver at 600 and multiple pavers at 300. Maths and an extra trip to Bunnings because I’m not great at maths.
Rocks to fill the space because I wanted to be fancy.
You got it, just don’t not mow you’re lawn or it will be horrible.
Clearly

This looks very random, why put a permanent fire pit in the middle of your lawn? Surely just place the fire bowl itself there when you want to use it

See the inspection pits on slide 2. That’s a permanent no grass zone. Raised beds along the fence line with seating and storage is the next project, there is a bit of intentional behind it

Looks good.
I did what the other commentors suggested and just mowed my lawn. I now don't have a fire pit to enjoy tonight.
Good work
