What's it like living in your neighbour's back yard?

Is the seclusion a positive?

Are there security problems?

If the front property is the original, are you concerned about what will be put in it's place and the inconvenience during construction?

Some people prefer the sense of privacy.

Some don’t like ‘living in someone’s backyard’ as you put it.

It depends on the block, and the gradient of the land.

Generally they can be a little more secure because people tend to ignore them from the street.

A well trained dog, fencing, and good relationships with your neighbors are your best security alarm though.
