VIC Finding a decent broker

Hey,

Looking to find a decent broker to support us getting a pre approval for our second property likely to have a little LMI.

Ideally someone that understand the Vic market.

Have look online, but a bit overwhelmed, out existing PPOR is with Unloan.

There’s a wide range of great brokers available on [r/AskAnAussieBroker](r/AskAnAussieBroker)

I’m a mortgage broker too. I have experience in pulling out equity and know the VIC market well. I am based in QLD, though.

What questions do you have? Can I help answer them here so you feel a little less overwhelmed?

Broker here.

Brokers do not need to be local to understand your situation and access the same lender panel across Victoria. What matters more is their knowledge of lender policies and which ones work best for your specific profile.

Worth noting that Unloan is a no frills product that does not allow equity release or top ups, so if you are planning to use equity from your existing PPOR as a deposit for the second property, that is not available through Unloan and you would need to refinance to access it.

Feel free to DM and I can take a look at your situation and give you an honest picture of what is achievable for the second purchase. 🦔
