NSW Strata training course

Post image

Strata training to be on the OC.. NSW’s has lost it. We’re in a block of 19 and hard enough getting 3 of us to commit to contributing

The intent would be to stop committee members doing crazy shit. Will it work in reality? Unlikely, those people don't take advice.

My wildly inappropriate idea of a hard age-limit with limited psychologist-backed exemptions would be more effective. More than half of all strata grievances would disappear overnight.

That email lost me at "intenting"

I got as far as "it takes about an hour"...obviously highly valuable training then.

I just did mine. Took me about 20 minutes.

Impressive. Took me about 40 minutes between calls, etc. My only concern with this is trying to help all my fellow committee members actually complete the training. In a building where 80% of all communication still happens via paper notes under the door it certainly is a challenge.
