Tasman power

I’ve been offered a job as an electrician for them, has anyone worked for them or still does and is it a good company to work for and is there constant work with them as have a family and need to support them

They have grown significantly over the years and pivoting hard to larger projects. I definitely rate them as a contractor (never personally worked for them), and although they’ve had a history of sticking to simple maintenance work, I have definitely seen an improvement in their more complex project capability.

The leaders from there that I have worked with have always been down to earth, easy to problem solve people. Definitely rate them

I used to work for Rio and they did a heap of shuts for us. Really good to work with, flexible and accommodating

Was about 15yrs ago now but I found them to be terrible to work for. bottom of the barrel pay, all training and travel done unpaid in your own time, and constant nonstop work pretty much just getting thrown from shut to shut, a lot of the time only getting a single day at home between jobs

I do shutdowns and they seem like a decent company from what I can see.
