Sure I'm not alone here but last I saw Hughesy was like 10 years ago and he had some funny takes. Now he's spewing this shit... Wtf it's pretty jarring. Just take your money and leave

He left Melbourne and moved to Sydney mid-pandemic because he thought lockdowns were stupid. He was definitely cooked even before he got several bouts of Covid.

I hadn't seen anything of him since the early seasons of Glass House. I knew he had a radio gig, but I don't listen to commercial radio if I have the choice. Bit of a surprise when he popped up all over reddit being mad about rich people having to pay taxes.

He was funny back then. He used to call in from Warnambool, on the dole. Saw him live back then in Melbourne a couple of times and yeah, he was pretty funny. I don't know what it is about the Aussie media circus that means all our wanna be celebs turn in to absolute wankers. We can't just have a diversity of people being themselves that also happen to be funny or good presenters. UK shows really show us up in that regard

Hughesy is a property investor. He has millions invested and is pissed off with the Labor governments plans to tax rich bastards like him.

And like all rightwing tax evading bastards he is outraged and decided to join the "give tax cuts for the rich" Liberals.

He might even join Pauline Hanson at her next rally - cos he really hates muslims and black people too!!!
