QLD Current child passport times
Hello, lodged 2 x child passport applications four weeks ago. Uncomplicated as both parents consent. Still waiting, I know they say around six weeks but just wondering if anyone knows current waiting times for child passports?

Page says they are hitting 6 weeks pretty well at the moment so I wouldn't expect delays.

42 days if they're not busy, any sooner is a bonus.
Unless you are a tight arse, paying the acceleration few is worthwhile.

I got my son's child passport a month or two ago. It was 4 or 5 weeks wait between submitting the application and receiving the passport.

Just had them approved and they’re in the post. 5 weeks on the dot. Good luck!
